✔️PROCEDURE OF MAKING A SWEATER FROM CROCHET:

Materials:

- Medium-weight yarn (approx. 300g)

- Size J (6.0mm) crochet hook

- Tapestry needle

- Scissors

- Stitch markers (optional)

Gauge:

12 dc stitches x 7 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)

Abbreviations:

🌞ch = chain

🌞dc = double crochet

🌞sc = single crochet

🌞st = stitch

🌞sl st = slip stitch

✔️PATTERN :

🌞. Body of Sweater:

Ch 44 (or any multiple of 4 plus 3).

Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each st across, turn. (43 dc)

Row 2 - 7: ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each st across, turn.

🌞. Shape Armholes:

Ch 3, dc2tog (see Special Stitches below), dc in each st across, turn. (21 dc)

Repeat the previous row until armhole measures 2 inches (5 cm).

🌞. Shape Neckline:

Ch 3, dc2tog, dc in each st across, turn. (10 dc)

Repeat the previous row until neckline measures 1 inch (2.5 cm).

🌞4. Sleeves:

Ch 24 (or any multiple of 4 plus 3).

Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each st across, turn. (23 dc)

Repeat Row 2 - 7 of Body until sleeve measures 4 inches (10 cm).

Sew sleeves to body, aligning armholes.
